Have you heard about an oil-tanker named Erika that sank near the west coast of France ? Well... the oil has been polluted the coast since the 26th December 1999, especially in the coast of Britanny. The French call it 'mar�e noire' means 'black tide'. Thirty thousand birds has been reported killed caused by this polution.

We were spending christmas in Batz/mer on the coast of Britanny with G�rald's family. The coast is just 500 m from the house. On the 26th of December , first thing in the morning, we heard that the oil has just polluted the coast... for us, it's the black christmas !
Until today (13 January), the coast still polluted. It's because of the tide which bring again the oil every single day ! It was a very beautiful coast... with beautiful waves ! We feel frustating to don't know when it's going to be end.	This tragedy make us realize how important and beautiful the nature is and also make us more appreciate it in the future !
